Grapefruit (Pranarom)

About: Grapefruit essential oil has a bright, fruity-sweet citrus aroma. Grapefruit trees are medium sized fruit trees with beautifully scented white flowers and large orange fruits, the peels of which are cold pressed to collect the essential oil. Best known for its incredible aroma, the oil is important in perfuming and blending. Grapefruit brightens body care, cleaning products and therapeutic home remedies. It can also be used for supporting digestion and a balanced appetite.

Common Uses: For emotional support, Grapefruit essential oil’s bright scent can be used in a diffuser or through palm inhalation. The oil can also promote circulation and the appearance of tighter, smooth skin when applied in a scrub. Other possible uses for Grapefruit essential oil include 2-3 drops on a sugar cube for digestive support, or a few drops added to cleaning products and bath salts.

All essential oils at Pranarom are NOP certified and Certified Organic through the French certification agency – ECOCERT.
