Organic Green Tea

Japanese steamed green tea blended with puffed rice is a traditional favorite in Japan and Korea. It has a smooth and golden infusion with a toasty aroma and nutty flavor.


This blend was developed hundreds of years ago by Zen monks who mixed green tea with the browned rice stuck to the bottom of their cauldrons. Soon after, roasted rice was blended with green tea and enjoyed by many throughout Japan. This blend is commonly served throughout Asian restaurants world wide.


Recommended Brewing Instructions: Water 180°F / 1-2 teaspoons per 8 oz / Infusion Time: 2-3 minutes
