This green tea is a classic style of Japanese green tea made with roasted tealeaves and stems from the autumn and winter harvests. This amber-colored infusion has a smooth flavor with accents of chocolate and roasted barley. The leaves of this green tea are actually brown and tan from the roasting process. Roasted green tea is lower in caffeine and beneficial to the digestive and circulatory systems according to reports from Japan. This tea is from Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan.

Recommended Brewing Instructions: Water 185°F /1 tablespoon per 8 ounces /Infusion Time: 3–4 minutes
