A highly nutritive red tea from South Africa
Also known as "Red Bush", this tea from South Africa yields a beautiful deep ruby red color and has a slight natural sweetness to its infusion. Very high in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Also has anti-aging, adaptogenic, antispasmodic, anti-histamine and nervine properties so it can be used to relieve insomnia, nervous tension, mild depression, stomach cramps (including colic), constipation, allergy symptoms (including hay fever and asthma), etc. Eases itching and skin irritations. Contains alpha-hydroxy and is used in beauty treatments in Japan. Does not contain caffeine! Enjoy hot or as an ice tea. Red rooibos is a slightly fermented version of green rooibos with a slightly sweeter and more pleasant flavor.
