Our Chaga is ethically and sustainably harvested by a small family business from birch trees in Alaska’s remote Susitna Valley. For centuries, Chaga has been used for ulcers, tuberculosis, gastritis, diabetes and hypertension. Chaga has also shown activity against liver, uterine, breast and gastric cancer. Recent studies have also found this mushroom to be anti-inflammatory, anti-mutagenic and anti-tumor. It’s a gently energizing adaptogen, super rich in antioxidants (test results indicate higher antioxidant levels than "super fruits" like goji berries and pomegranates), a strong source of Vitamin D and is high in beta glucans which may promote white blood cell activation.
