Bitter, astringent, aromatic, stimulant, diaphoretic. Purifies blood. Used for boils and sores, diarrhea, dysentery, tourista, rheumatism, gout, kidney stones & to expel worms. Tea makes a good wash for mouth canker sores. Flavor is similar to wintergreen.
